Termites commonly known as “ White Ants “are no.1 destructive pests when it comes to structural damage to buildings and wooden articles, paper products ,Fabric, Carpets and other materials than contain cellulose which is their main food source. They are social insects who lives in colonies build in soil and termite workers starts entering buildings in search of food through self constructed mud tunnels -shelters the termites from desiccation. Since they are generally concealed and their presence is often undetected, the extent of damage is severe before an intervention is done. Termite Treatment needs to be done as preventive measure at the time of Construction of Building.
